Feeding
Utah Families

As Utahns struggle to make ends meet while facing sky-rocketing  inflation, Utah Food Bank continues to see elevated need.

Utah Food Bank: Fighting Hunger Statewide

Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has operated under various names but has always remained true to our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 317,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 11 individuals, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 10 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support last year, we distributed 60.2 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 50.1 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state.

It takes a village to raise a child, and sometimes it takes a village to feed one. Utah Food Bank is here to help through our Childhood Hunger Programs and a commitment to the belief that no child should have to go to bed hungry.

Volunteering at Utah Food Bank is a very fun and rewarding experience.  I have met some great, dedicated people who help make it so easy to be there.  With so many hungry people in Utah,  I am just grateful I can help out. I love volunteering there!!!
