374,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 8 Utahns, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 7 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from.
During this time of uncertainty and change due to COVID-19, we can work together to help ensure that no one has to worry about having enough nutritcious food to eat. Our research has found that nearly 9 in 10 food pantry clients report that making healthy choices at the food pantry is important to them. We can help to not only feed, but also nourish our neighbors here in Utah. With your support, and Utah Food Bank’s purchasing power, we can truly make a difference in the lives of Utahns facing hunger!
Utah State University Extension's program, Create Better Health (SNAP-Ed), is hosting a Virtual Food & Fund Drive to benefit Utah Food Bank because we need to take care of one another especially when times are tough. No adult or child in our state should go to bed hungry. For this reason, we are hoping to raise at least $100 for each county.
Donating to our Virtual Food & Fund Drive is easy! Click on the "Browse Store" button above. Then just select the items you would like Utah Food Bank to purchase on your behalf OR select the cash item to allow Utah Food Bank to utilize your donation where it’s most needed (we highly recommend this option). Then check out and follow the steps to enter your payment information.
Thank you for your support!
